Independent station time is not a pause in learning; it is where automaticity develops through the intentional, repeated, distributed practice that research shows whole group instruction alone cannot provide. This session introduces administrators to a newly developed set of curriculum resources for Independent Literacy Stations aligned to HQIM and Evidence-based Reading Research, leaving leaders with a clear vision of high-quality station time and the tools to support teachers in closing the gap between taught and mastered standards. Administrators will leave with practical tools for supporting teacher practice, strengthening Tier 1 literacy instruction, and improving coherence across classrooms and grade levels.
