2026 VBCPS Summer Leadership Conference

Welcome to the 2026 Leadership Conference. This year's conference is designed to equip leaders with the knowledge, clarity, and confidence to champion the priorities at the heart of Compass to 2030. Our theme, Igniting Impact: Leading with Clarity, is both an invitation and a charge: to lead with intention and make our work matter.
The work ahead is clear:

Strengthen the conditions for every student to learn, belong, and grow into their Future-Ready potential.
Invest in the professional culture that makes great work possible.
Build the partnerships that extend our reach beyond school walls.

Clarity is not just about knowing where you are going. It is about leading others there with purpose, consistency, and belief in what is possible. This conference is your opportunity to learn from colleagues, sharpen your thinking, and leave ready to inspire the impact your school community needs.

Each school’s administrative team, including the principal, assistant principal(s), academy coordinator,
dean(s) and administrative assistant, is invited to attend both days of the conference.
• July 22 (Day 1) is built around peer-to-peer learning structures.
• July 23 (Day 2) will feature choice sessions, including content appropriate for teacher leaders.
